Bhangarh Fort is known as the most haunted place in Rajasthan and even it is the most haunted place in Asia also. This fort is located in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The fort was made in 1613 by King Madho Singh. From sunset to sunrise, the entry in Bhangarh Fort is prohibited as per government rules.

This palace is cursed and is the most horror place in Rajasthan. According to locals, Strange sounds, music and lights emanate from the fort comes after sunset and if someone tries to enter the fort after sunset that person does not come back as normal.

History about Fort: According to history, a wizard fell in love with Ratnavati, a beautiful Bhangarh princess. One day, the wizard followed her to the marketplace and offered her a perfume bottle which was made by black magic, after which princess would be attracted toward her. However, the princess got alert about this and she threw that bottle which accidentally felled on a large stone which took wizard death.

At that moment wizard cursed the village and princess which led the destruction of Ratnavati, her family and the villagers. It is believed that a battle which occurred a year after the curse led to a wide number of deaths and destruction. Even today locals believe that the fort and the village remains condemned.

A 2017 study suggests that Kuldhara and other neighboring villages were abandoned because of an earthquake. Over the years, Kuldhara acquired a reputation as a haunted site, and the Government of Rajasthan decided to develop it as a tourist spot in the 2010s.

History about Fort: According to history, the evil eyes of Salim Singh prime minister of the state, fell on the daughter of the village head and he desired to marry her by force. He threatened the villagers that if they did not fulfill his wishes he will destroy everything. After he threaten people of 85 villages left their homes and vanished.

But this was not all; before leaving, they put a curse on Kuldhara that no one will ever be able to settle in their village thereafter. To this date, the village remains barren. It is also said that people who have tried to stay there at night have been chased away by the strange paranormal phenomenon.

History about Fort: Brij Raj Bhawan was used as a personal residence by the British official and their family during the British regime in India. Once upon a time, Major Charles Burton visited Kota and settled down in this heritage property with his family. In Sepoy Mutiny broke 1857, a group of Indian soldiers attacked the Brij Raj Bhawan palace too.

They broke into the mansion and killed the English officer and his children living in the palace. After the murder, King of Kota recovered the dead bodies and buried them in the central hall of the palace. Soon after that incident, the local residents of the area began seeing strange figures and hearing spooky sounds. That’s how the locals concluded that the dead British Major is residing in the palace as a ghost.
